ONE PIECE: STRONG WORLD

Out Feb 19 on DVD and Blu-ray!

An original One Piece movie written by creator Eiichiro Oda.

When the Straw Hats catch wind of trouble in the peaceful waters of the East Blue, they quickly set a course for home! But before they reach their destination, fate leads them into the deadly path of Golden Lion Shiki. This gravity-defying madman needs a navigator, and he wants Nami! Shiki scatters the Straw Hats across the far corners of a floating island filled with ferocious, genetically-mutated monsters, and issues Nami and ultimatum: join his crew - or her friends die!

Big mistake. Luffy kicks his attack mode into Third Gear and begins a brutal rampage across the beast-ridden island. It's all hands on deck in Monkey vs. Lion. Winner gets the navigator!

THE GOSPEL OF LOKI is unleashed across the Nine Worlds!

'Loki, that's me. The Light-Bringer, the misunderstood, the elusive, the handsome and modest hero of this particular tissue of lies. Take it with a pinch of salt, but it's at least as true as the official version, and, dare I say it, more entertaining.

So far, history, such as it is, has cast me in a rather unflattering role. Now it's my turn to take the stage.'

With his notorious reputation for trickery and deception, and an ability to cause as many problems as he solves, Loki is a Norse god like no other. Demon-born, he is viewed with deepest suspicion by his fellow gods who will never accept him as one of their own and for this he vows to take his revenge. But while Loki is planning the downfall of Asgard and the humiliation of his tormentors, greater powers are conspiring against the gods and a battle is brewing that will change the fate of the Worlds. From his recruitment by Odin from the realm of Chaos, through his years as the go-to man of Asgard, to his fall from grace in the build-up to Ragnarok, this is the unofficial history of the world's ultimate trickster.

This is not Joanne M Harris' first foray into Norse mythology - there have been two recent novels for teenagers (Runemarks and Runelight) but this is her first Norse gods novel for adults. Harris is actually the author of the bestselling Chocolat, which you may remember was adapted to into an Oscar-nominated movie of the same title. This is quite the departure for Harris, but she is quite the eclectic individual. Her hobbies are listed in WHO'S WHO as 'mooching, lounging, strutting, strumming, priest-baiting and quiet subversion' although she also enjoys obfuscation, sleaze, rebellion, witchcraft, armed robbery, tea and biscuits. She plays bass guitar in a band first formed when she was 16, studies Old Norse and lives with her husband Kevin and her daughter Anouchka, about 15 miles from the place she was born (Barnsley, UK). She studied at St Catharine's College, Cambridge, was a teacher for fifteen years, and has published eight novels, a collection of short stories and two cookbooks. Her books are now published in over 40 countries and have won a number of British and international awards.

We love her and all her books, and think you should to.

NOW, GET STUCK INTO THE FIRST CHAPTER.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2: Rise of Electro swinging into action with Supanova

We've always known that Spider-Man's most important battle has been within himself: the struggle between the ordinary obligations of Peter Parker and the extraordinary responsibilities of Spider-Man. But in The Amazing Spider-Man 2: Rise of Electro, Peter Parker finds that a greater conflict lies ahead.

It's great to be Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield). For Peter Parker, there's no feeling quite like swinging between skyscrapers, embracing being the hero, and spending time with Gwen (Emma Stone). But being Spider-Man comes at a price: only Spider-Man can protect his fellow citizens from the formidable villains that threaten the city. With the emergence of Electro (Jamie Foxx), Peter must confront a foe far more powerful than he. And, as his old friend Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan) returns, Peter comes to realize that all of his enemies have one thing in common: OsCorp.

Sony Pictures are excited to be partnering with Supanova for the release of this next instalment in the Spider-Man franchise. If you're heading to the Gold Coast or Melbourne events, keep your eyes peeled on how you could be one of the first in Australia to see the film.

In the meantime, head to the website to view the trailer, get behind the scenes info, play games and more: www.TheAmazingSpiderman2.com.au

The Amazing Spiderman: Rise of Electro swings into cinemas across Australia on April 17.
