The Kings of Westeros & Cybertron "Roll out" to Adelaide and Brisbane this November!

We're Rolling Out the Royalty with Joffrey Baratheon & Optimus Prime

We're "rolling out" the royalty by bringing you two more stellar Supa-Stars this November!

In a rare public appearance, Jack Gleeson, who played Joffrey Baratheon in the television series Game of Thrones, will join the November line up in addition to veteran voice actor, Peter Cullen, who is best known as the voice of Optimus Prime from the Transformers franchise. Both actors will appear at the expos in Adelaide and Brisbane.

Jack Gleeson is the best at portraying the worst; he shot to fame as Joffrey Baratheon in Game of Thrones, the television adaption of George R.R. Martin's fantasy novel series, A Song of Ice and Fire. Following his dramatic and spectacular departure from Game of Thrones, Gleeson retired from acting, so his visit to Adelaide and Brisbane in November is a real coup for our Supa-fans.

Transformers fans will recognise Peter Cullen as the unmistakable voice of Optimus Prime. Peter was the original actor to voice the Autobot in the '80s animated series, returning to the role in 2007 with Michael Bay's live-action reboot of the franchise. He continued working with Bay on the sequels, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, Transformers: Dark of the Moon and Transformers: Age of Extinction.

A superstar of the voice acting world, Cullen is also the talent behind Eeyore from Winnie The Pooh, and many '80s cartoon classics including Rainbow Brite, Chip 'n' Dale Rescue Rangers, Voltron: Defender of the Universe, Ghostbusters, and Rambo: The Force of Freedom. Cullen is also credited as providing the alien sounds of Predator from the 1987 movie of the same name.

Both actors look forward to meeting their fans in Adelaide (22-23 November) and Brisbane (28-30 November). Check out the Guest Page for other guests already announced for the November 2014 tour!

IT'S NEARLY SUMMER – FOXGLOVE SUMMER!

Jeez, Ben Aaronovitch can have us sitting on the edge of our reading seats. Damn you Ben! But it's finally here! It's finally here!

What's finally here, you ask? Well, 'neath-rock dwellers, this is the fifth book in this mastermind's RIVERS OF LONDON series. If you haven't read the first four – DO NOT skip this article. Head to your favourite bookseller and ACQUIRE THEM. Still need convincing? Check out the series' official music vid.

For those living in Aaronovitchville already, this instalment will of course keep you guessing about *you-know-what* and we ain't gonna tell ya anything. Ha. Except that the copper leaves London this time (but can you take the London out of the copper?) for Herefordshire where the local police are reluctant to admit that there might be a supernatural element to the disappearance of some local children. We'll let you take it from here…

11 November in stores everyone – enjoy! Or pre-order it here.

Foxglove Summer is published by Hachette Australia. Sign up for WORD UP - Hachette's newsletter – or follow them on their social channels to hear about other awesome titles and giveaways.
