Doctor, Doctor; Give Me The News!

Gold Coast and Melbourne: our records indicate that it's time for a check up - and we're prescribing you a healthy dose of guest announcements ahead of the expos in April.

Measure that dose accordingly, as good things come in threes. Eve Myles, Gareth David-Lloyd and
Naoko Mori have all appeared on Doctor Who, their performances resulting in their characters landing a regular role in the Who sci-fi spin-off series, Torchwood. And they'll be meeting fans at Supanova in April!

Speaking of the Doctor, did we mention Michelle Gomez, aka Missy the renegade Time Lord, is making a house call and heading down-under too? Well, she most certainly is!

Just what the doctor ordered: we also have some of the world's mightiest voices in animation! Joining us in April is Attack on Titan's Eren and Mikasa - Bryce Papenbrook and Trina Nishimura, respectively, and Brina Palencia - who you might recognise as Chiaotzu and Puar from Dragon Ball Z.

For your action injection, we present the cast and crew of Garrison 7. They're gearing up to film G7: Universe in 2016 and we'll be following their progress throughout. Come face-to-face with the filmmakers and follow their journey as they present to fans at Supanova.

If reading is your medicine, we have the cure! To get you back on the mend we have international bestselling author Maria V. Snyder, known for her Study, Glass and Healer series'. There's debut author Maria Lewis with her newly released book, Who's Afraid?, and spellbinding tales from A Crucible of Souls by Mitchell Hogan, and Lynette Noni with Arkane.

With The Alloy of Law and Shadows of Self, Brandon Sanderson surprised readers with a New York Times bestselling spinoff of his Mistborn books, set after the action of the first Mistborn trilogy.

Now, with The Bands of Mourning, Sanderson continues the story. The Bands of Mourning are the mythical metalminds owned by the Lord Ruler, said to grant anyone who wears them the powers that the Lord Ruler had at his command. Hardly anyone thinks they really exist. But now a kandra researcher has returned to Elendel with images that seem to depict the Bands, as well as writings in a language that no one can read.

Waxillium Ladrian is recruited to travel south to the city of New Seran to investigate, and along the way he discovers hints that point to the true goals of his uncle Edwarn and the shadowy organization known as The Set.
