Supanova's Game is Strong with Star Power this April!

In little over a month, Supanova will be blasting into the Gold Coast and Melbourne, and the guest news just keeps rolling in!

In a massive coup, Supanova has secured three exclusives for each city; one for Gold Coast and two for Melbourne, plus a number more that will be attending both events. Beginning in Melbourne, Natalie Dormer (Game of Thrones, The Hunger Games), will appear exclusively on Sunday afternoon 30th April. Lee Majors (The Six Million Dollar Man) will also be joining us in Melbourne, for the entire weekend.

Gold Coast fans can also celebrate with Pan's Labyrinth's Ivana Baquero, who will be joining us straight from the set of fantasy-epic The Shannara Chronicles, which is filming its second season in New Zealand. Fans of both the book and the TV series will be delighted to further discover that fellow star Manu Bennett (Arrow, The Hobbit, Spartacus) will be joining author Terry Brooks in both cities as well.

Also recently announced to appear are:

And in major news, coming on board as Supanova's first ever official Supanova Star Ambassador is screen veteran John Jarratt (Wolf Creek, Boar), who will be spending 2017 understanding what it means to totally 'geek-out' at Supanova. Jarratt will join the event, appearing at each of their expos throughout 2017 to meet fans and deliver a unique, behind-the-scenes take on the convention scene from his own perspective.

In sad news, Sean Astin sends his apologies for having to postpone his visit due to being cast in a new film. He hopes to return as soon as possible.

Stranger Things Power Supanova Back To The Future in June

...and the good news doesn't stop with April! We've started to reveal the first of our Supa-Stars headed for Sydney and Perth in June, including two well-known, leading actors from the Netflix Original Series Stranger Things: Child star and breakout sensation Millie Bobby Brown (Godzilla: King of Monsters) and David Harbour (The Newsroom). Both actors will be making their very first Australian convention appearance, at Supanova.

With Stranger Things harking back to all things '80s, and its subtle and nostalgic pop culture references, it's only fitting that Christopher Lloyd (Back to The Future, The Addams Family) - a celebrated film icon who lies at the heart of every '80s film buff - joins the guest lineup for Sydney and Perth.

The '90s are similarly represented, with heartthrob Dean Cain (Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman, Supergirl) and Mighty Morphin Power Rangers alumnus/voice actor Johnny Yong Bosch (Code Geass, Bleach); and the noughties with Julie Benz (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Dexter) and Christopher Judge (Stargate SG-1) - who is geared up to provide the voice of Spartan warrior Kratos in the next installment in the God of War video game franchise.

The twenty-tens are also represented through some of the hottest shows on television in Colin Donnell (Arrow, The Affair). The stage and screen actor currently starts as a series regular on the medical drama Chicago Med.

These guests are only the beginning in what is suiting up to be the biggest and best Supanova Sydney and Perth has ever seen!

The Alley & Supanova Book Club: Who Will You Meet Next?

The Alley is brimming with hot, hot talent! Superhero appeal is celebrated with acclaimed comic book creators Esad Ribic (Thor: God of Thunder), and powerhouse couple David and Meredith Finch (Wonder Woman).
